Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Solar radiation data in weather files

Dear Linda,
  Just to check:
1-"The Direct Avg line is the direct normal solar average per day for each month. That is a sum for a day."
So this "Direct Avg."value gives the sum of a representative 24 hours of each month, right?

2-"The diffuse avg line is again the average diffuse horizontal solar, average sum for the days in the month."
So Differently from, "direct avg." this "Diffuse Avg."value gives the sum of all days or all hours of each month?

3- Global radiation is similar (in calcualtion basis to either direct or diffuse?)

  Thank you, Beat regards
  Abeer

The Direct Avg line is the direct normal solar average per day for
each month. That is a sum for a day.

The direct Max is the sum of solar for a particular day -- and the
day number is shown on the line below.

The diffuse avg line is again the average diffuse horizontal solar,
average sum for the days in the month.

Global average is the Global Horizontal solar (included if the data
source includes that) likewise.

The maximum direct normal solar is the total (sum) for one day --
maximum value shown.

Linda
