Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] what wrong with the E+ weather converter?

I have verified that this is true. But neither Ecotect nor
EnergyPlus use the Global Horizontal radiation so I'm not sure how
important it is. the WEA files only have direct and diffuse. I
doubt they put out global into any EPW they might export. (There may
be a different problem with their export which I am looking into).

I can certainly combine the diffuse and direct received in a WEA file
in the weather converter to produce appropriate global horizontal,
but I don't typically when the source does not have the global to begin with.

Since neither program uses the global, I don't see that it will
inhibit you from comparing the two.
