[EnergyPlus_Support] Errors caused by "truncation"?

Hi everyone,

I have been learning EPv2-0-0 for a week and I have encountered this
strange error a few times already: sometimes my data get "truncated"
for unknown reason which leads to fatal errors.  The problematic line
looks fine when I open the .idf file using notepad; but as soon as the
simulation starts I'll the fatal error mentioned above.  Has anyone
encountered the same error?
