[EnergyPlus_Support] Zoning and modelling VAV

Hello everyone, 

i am creating the model a four-storey about 50mx30m building. There 
are separate supply fans for the North and South perimeter zones and 
a center zone. So the South Zone is about 50m x approx 4m x four 
levels.

While one packaged air conditioning unit is used for the south and 
center zones, the north zone uses two units, one for Level 3 and 
another to condition Levels ground, 1 and 2. So i create 4 zones and 
each zone has one supply fan. 

But at each floor the air supplies from North, south and center fans 
are mixed, the floor has open plan offices. Am i wrong to ignore the 
mixing altogether and create only three sides Heat Transfer 
surfaces/subsurfaces for the south zone say? The zone air returns by 
a common shaft to the roof top units.  

Each air conditioning unit has one variable speed fan that supplies 
to more than one level and at each level there are many VAV ceiling 
diffusers that can regulate heating and cooling air to meet the 
highest call for heating or cooling from any of the thermostats in 
that zone. Which of the VAV example file do i study?
