[EnergyPlus_Support] Energy Balance of building
Hello
I am trying to verify the monthly energy balance of very simple
building in purchase air simulation.
My question is: is it possible to verify the output
"Heating:EnergyTransfer [J](Monthly)" and "Cooling:EnergyTransfer
[J](Monthly)" by the algebraic summation of different energy gains
and losses? If yes, which are the energy gain and loss parameters?
I tried to sum the following gains:
Zone Window Heat Gain Energy[J](Monthly)
Zone Opaque Surface Inside Face Conduction Gain Energy[J](Monthly)
Zone Total Internal Total Heat Gain [J](Monthly)
Zone Infiltration Sensible Heat Gain [J](Monthly)
and losses:
Zone Window Heat Loss Energy[J](Monthly)
Zone Opaque Surface Inside Face Conduction Loss Energy[J](Monthly)
Zone Infiltration Sensible Heat Loss [J](Monthly)
The difference of the above two (gain and loss) should give me the
values of Heating:EnergyTransfer [J](Monthly)" and
"Cooling:EnergyTransfer [J](Monthly)?
Thanks!
Michela
