These variables are not good for this comparison:
Heating:EnergyTransfer [J](Monthly)" and 
"Cooling:EnergyTransfer [J](Monthly)

It is better to use Zone/Sys Sensible Heating Energy (or Cooling Energy).  
Using these variables will not always balance exactly, especially if the 
interior temperatures in the thermal mass of the walls is not exactly the same 
at the beginning and end of the month.
