[EnergyPlus_Support] shadowing calc errors

Hi All
I have some errors that I can't figure out what they mean. I did as it
suggested and added the diagnostics statement, but I am not really sure what
it is doing.

******** Too many vertices [>=18] in shadow overlap errors occurring...
   ************* These occur throughout the year and may occur several times
for the same surfaces. You may be able to reduce them by adding
DIAGNOSTICS,DoNotMirrorDetachedShading;
   *************
   ** Warning ** Too many vertices [>=18] in a shadow overlap
