Look at it the wording this way, it isn't "Sensible Part" Load
Ratio--its Sensible "Part Load Ratio". The part load isn't referring to
sensible versus latent, its referring to what part of this time step the
coil is on. It's a fraction of full load sensible heating. Remember
the simulation often has a time step that is longer than cycling period,
this leads to part load ratios for all sorts of things...

Not sure why you would be getting the error (or rather I don't imagine
its very helpful to note it is because the numerical solver
SolveRegulaFalsi returned a SolFlag = -1). But the convergence is
pretty close (0.14%), so it sounds safe to ignore.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] Heating coil sensible part-load ratio

Dear EPlus Forum,

I'd like some help understanding the error below. I don't know what a
"sensible part load ratio" refers to for a COIL:GAS:HEATING object
within a Furnace:HeatCool object. It sounds like the sensible heat
ratio for a DX cooling coil, but that makes no sense for heating....

** Warning ** Heating coil control failed to converge for
Furnace:HeatCool:AH_03
** ~~~ ** Iteration limit exceeded in calculating heating
coil sensible part-load ratio.
** ~~~ ** Sensible load to be met by heating coil = 107013.56
(watts), sensible output of heating coil = 107158.23 (watts), and the
simulation continues.

Thanks!
