[EnergyPlus_Support] WINDOWS 6 Import Procedure

Dear All,

I´m using "Windows 6 research version" to import a triple low-e
glazing for my simulation. I´m not using its shading import
capabilities, I´m only importing the glazing system. I´m a little bit
unsure about the EnergyPlus calculations using the dat file from
"Window 6".

I´m using only one glazing system, and as its said in the I/O
reference, EPlus ignores the W6 dimensions and uses the one´s from the
original idf. However there is a warning message about the 10%
dimension difference issue. In the HTML Envelope Summary report file
from the idf that uses the W6 glazing, the fenestration areas are
different from the original idf file using another glazing system. I'm
a little bit confused... From which I understood, I suppose EPlus
would use the original idf window dimensions to calculate heat
transfer??? I´m using a frame with thermal break.

Can you give me some guidance help?
Thanks
Nuno
