[EnergyPlus_Support] Total Source Energy

If plant sizes like Boiler, Chiller and Cooling tower have the same sizes 
and I am trying to simulate a base case and a proposed case. Will my 
Total Source Energy will be same or it can be different. I have two files 
with different zone equipment although my plant sizes are same but I am 
having different Total source energy for these two cases. Can any body 
comment?
