RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] the simulation of the chiller

I don't know exactly.
But I guess it is because there is temperature rise due to pump.

Hi, I have a question when I do the simulation of the chiller, could you please help me?Why is there some temperature difference between the chiller condenser and the cooling tower? For example, the outlet temperature of the chiller condenser does not equal the inlet temperature of the cooling tower. I don't know why. Should the outlet water temperature of the chiller condenser be the same as the inlet water temperature of the cooling tower (when these two equipements are connected)? The document explains the temperature difference between the inlet of the condenser and the outlet of the cooling tower, but I don't find the reason for the difference between the outlet of condenser and the inlet of cooling tower? I observed that the difference be decided by the water flow rate. when the water flow rate is larger the temperature difference is smaller. I cannot explain it, please help me.Thank you very much!Best regards!lym
