[EnergyPlus_Support] Solar radiation models?
Hi.
When E+ documentation mentions (pages 82-83 of Engineering Reference >>
Climate, Sky and Solar/Shading Calculations >> Climate Calculations)
that the default solar model used is the Clear Sky model...
.... what exactly does it mean, or what does it apply to?
I mean, don't the weather files usually include the effect of clear or
cloudy days already?
Does the documentation refer solely to generating data for DesignDays?
Where else should I look to better understand how E+ uses solar
radiation data?
Thanks in advance,
Ana Rui.
