[EnergyPlus_Support] RUNS Question

Could someone explain the difference between running the zone sizing 
vs. system sizing vs. plant sizing runs? All I have in terms of 
building information is the geometries and general zone settings 
(cooling set point, RH) and I am having trouble setting up a full HVAC 
system for the idf. Is one of the runs designed so that if I only set 
up the ZONE SIZING it will still run without branch/node information?
