Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Architect-friendly user interface

DesignBuilder is very user friendly. If you're modeling a house, DB should be fine. The lighting options in DesignBuilder are easy to understand. EnergyPlus works better if you're modeling a large facility of some sort with a detailed HVAC system that requires air loops and/or steam loops.

Hello,
I'm new to EnergyPlus and trying to learn about it.  I'm an architect by training and so not too deeply versed in mechanical knowledge but I am fairly familiar with lighting design.  My question is: which user interface would be most user-friendly for me?  In terms of studying options from scematic design through design development of relatively simple structures (such as houses.)

Thanks!

Scott
