[EnergyPlus_Support] "PIPE:EXTERIOR" question

Hi all,

Now I have a question about new pipe model. For my work, I just want to add a "PIPE:EXTERIOR" model at the plant loop and I think for latest E+, the only positions I can add it are condenser loop and plant loop supply side. But for the plant loop supply side, I am wonder can I add the pipe at the supply side inlet part or the only position to add the pipe is supply side outlet part if the supply side includes pump, splitter and mixer.
