[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: heat pump in compact hvac hot water loop



Yes, it's kind of tricky and time consuming...
You can always use a "Purchased Air" or, in this case, maybe even 
better, "Purchased Hot Water" approach, and do some post-processing 
in a spreadsheet to transform the thermal consumption rates into 
electric power (at constant COP, in the lack of better data or, if 
performance data is available for different outdoor temperatures and 
partial load, interpolating for the outdoor temperature and heating 
rate reported at each timestep).
