[EnergyPlus_Support] Water flow issue

Hi,

I am still working on my model using the WATERHEATER:MIXED as a
connection to the hot water loop for my DX:COIL:HEATPUMPWATERHEATER
object.

I have a problem of water flow rate that I cannot figure out!

Before there was a boiler and the installation was working perfectly
as a varying water flow rate type, ie nothing in the bypass on the
demand side.
Now, since I connected the water tank instead, I still have a
variable speed pump and I have the same water flow and temperature
going at the coils level BUT the water flow remains constant at the
maximum allowed! As a result I have a lot of useless water flowing
through the demand side bypass, which is not what I seek at all.

Does anyone have an idea why the water flow rate is constant? I
didn't find anything on the WATERHEATER:MIXED definition that says it
is operating only in constant flow mode...

Thank you very much for your help
Regards
Aymeric
