[EnergyPlus_Support] Reverse Action Terminal Unit Damper



I am doing some testing to determine savings associated with normal 
action vs reverse action VAV reheat terminal unit damper control. I 
have sized my zone heating design supply air temperature to 40 deg. C 
(zone sizing) and my reheat coil leaving air temperature to 40 deg. C.
(coil:water:simple heating)

With a normal action terminal unit damper, my supply temperature out of 
the terminal unit outlet node is 40 deg. C maximum. When I switch to 
reverse action, my supply temperature out of the terminal unit outlet 
node goes up to almost 60 deg. C. This is not how I thought it was 
supposed to work, or what I want. I want to control the leaving air 
temperature to 40 deg. C. and have the damper open to provide more air 
at 40 deg. if needed to meet heating load. Is there a way to get this 
to perform as I wish?
