[EnergyPlus_Support] wall thickness geometry

Dear users.

I want to ask about geometry data of a model.

When inputing a buildings's geometry how is the thickness of the walls 
modelled? I uses internal dimensios of the building (top of floor to 
botom of room and inside wall to wall distance), is this correct?
where do I find the reference in the manual?
