The current version of DesignBuilder is compatible with E+ version 2.2, not 3.0. If you download E+ version 2.2 and then try to run it with the latest version of DesignBuilder, you should be able to simulate your building with DesignBuilder.

Hi,

I have been trying to use the free trial version of Design Builder for modeling a building. I also have the latest version of EnergyPlus (v3.0) installed. However, every time I hit 'simulate', Design Builder tells me that EnergyPlus has expired. I looked up the help on Design Builder and it seems that it works best with EnergyPlus v2.0 though you can pick the version you want it to use. I haven't been able to get Design Builder to use v3.0. I am wondering if it is an issue with the trial version of Design Builder or if there is a way I can get it to work with v3.0 or if there is a place where I can find EnergyPlus v2.0.
