[EnergyPlus_Support] Re: CV AHU and Secondary FCU in Zone
Couple of questions because I am running into some issues. The first
is can all this be done with the HVAC templates and if so which ones?
The way I have started is to set up a HVACTemplate:Zone:VAV and
System:VAV and set all the minimum and maximums the same and have no
turndown on the VAV. This was my understanding on how to get a CAV
system from the template. Is this right? should i be using
AirTerminal:SingleDuct:ConstantVolume:Reheat or Uncontrolled instead?
Then I am going into the expanded idf and trying to add a
ZoneHVAC:FourPipeFanCoil manually, but there are object parameters for
outdoor air which i don't have because it is just recirculating the
zone air. Also it seems like the outlet from the VAV/CAV is the same
node as the outlet for the fan coil, which is the zone inlet. I
thought zones could have only one air inlet and outlet
Can you see where I am going with this. Looking for a little more
direction.
I do appreciate the help
