Hi, Chris The diagnosis below was correct, but the Compatibility Display setting did not work. Just below the Hourly tab, I noticed a partially visible check box. By double clicking the left mouse button on the check box area, the channel selection menu appeared on the right hand side of the chart. You can then select the data for multi-trace plotting. Once it is on, I cannot turn it off. Therefore, the chart display area is now always smaller. I have not used the software before, therefore I do not know where the control buttons are normally situated. You may be able click around and find more hidden ones, or some short cut keys. I cannot get the status bar to show either. It is very useful to compare two sets of simulation results as well, using the linked mode. I still do not know how to use the X-Y plotting yet. I have a feeling that the input data has to be re-arranged to meet the plotting column requirement. Hi, Chris
I have down loaded both xESOview, mentioned in Linda's reply, and Dview to my VISTA PC. Both software worked. Dview is a better package, because it can display multiple traces on the same chart. I noticed that sometime the window to select multiple traces did not show, due to overlapped display area. MSN recently provided a feature called Compatibilioty View to compensate the misalignment of windows on the display for software written for earlier version of IE. I received this update about a month ago, with the Windows automatic update service. You may try looking for the Compatibility Display setting update from MSN. This update is surposed to improve printing of web pages. You can also try changing the size of the window, normal view and full size view, and move the display window around to see whether the trance selection window can be uncovered. I installed Dview as an administrator, and run the program as an adminstrator. My PC is on VISTA home prenium with IE8 Beta browser. The legend, which allows selection of other variables has disappeared. Has anyone else had that problem? Are are there any other viewers that can combine output variables?
