I have Meteonorm 5.1 and as a check I ran Boston weather to compare
against standard weather files. Everything was reasonable except the
wind. The driving rain index was 180 degrees off. A New England Northeaster
was now a Southwester. This may not matter too much for most energy
studies, but it is not good for programs like WUFI where directional rain makes
a difference for the analysis. I have not checked other cities or tried the newest version of
the program. The hype did say that it was checked against 3 or 4 US
cities (not Boston), but I have not had time run a complete verification. Ned
