[EnergyPlus_Support] time step in hour= 1 ok?

dear all,

I am running a single zone simulation of an office with airflow network (natural ventilation) and purchased air heating and cooling.
Using time step in hour = 4 produced strange results for my hourly output variables. When I change the time step in hour to 1 the results look ok. Am I making a mistake using time step = 1, although the recommendation in the inputoutput reference is 4? I would prefer the hourly output instead of switching the output variables to "timestep"...

I would be happy about a recommendation,
Astrid
