[EnergyPlus_Support] Pressure rise and linkage pressure difference

Dear all,

A simple system causes me a problem...

I have an exhaust fan (so constant volume) between a zone and outdoors, as air flow outlet, and a window as air flow inlet.
According to the window's opening, the report "linkage pressure difference" shows that the pressure differences through the fan and through the window logically vary.
But the exhaust fan's parameters define the pressure rise of the fan (at full flow and standard conditions, which is the case during my simulation).

So my question is: what is the difference between the pressure rise of the fan and the linkage pressure difference for this fan? does the pressure rise only serves to calculate the power consumption? why isn't the pressure difference used to it?

Thanks a lot.
