When ERV and the AirflowNetwork model are used together, the exhaust air outlet node defined in�an heat exchanger�is assumed to be outside node. Please look at an example file how to connect nodes: AirflowNetwork_Multizone_SmallOfiice_HeatRecoveryHXSL.idf.
