Dear Kelvin,

In "simulation control", i choose No for simulation run periods and yes for simulation for weather file.I want to use only the weather file, but without the design days, i get the following "severe":

"CheckEnvironmentSpecifications: Sizing for Equipment/Plants has been requested but there are no design environments specified."

It seems like if i choose Yes for "Do plant sizing calculations", it needs design days.

If i want weather file, then how the Autosized components will work without the plant sizing calculations?

If you want to have design day simulation. You can choose to have design day simulation in control option. Design days give the extreme simulation cases which use different calculation method compared with annual simulation.
