Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] regarding the Ground Temperature and ground properties data base for different climatic zones

I would suggest that for horizontal grount loop configuration can find the temperatures of ground for all month at weather file (file STAT) the file which you are using for somulation.
In this file (STAT) is written that for vertichal (deep) ground ground loop heat exchanger can take the temperature of ground at 4 m deep, seeing in this file that temperature of ground at 4 m deep has a significant difference  temperature among all months of year. Regarding of this, I had some double (because as you may know  for deep ground heat exchanger the temp is nearly constant for whole year) and asked E + support group, they answered me tha you can evaluate the temperature for deep ground heat exhanger using your file, ruuning your file with output variable: Outdoor Air Temperature with time step Run Period, and this value can be added 1.4 Celcius (as I found also in some papers). Regarding of properties of soil, I thing that can be evaluated in laborators, or using the data of geologs (maybe).
