I was trying to use DOS command to run energyplus.exe. As explained in the documents, to run energyplus.exe in DOS mode or batch file requires in.idf file in the same folder. I did exactly that. In fact, I moved an idf file created using IDFEditor to the folder containing energyplus.exe and changed its name to in.idf.
However, the programs still says "in.idf missing". I double checked and was 100% sure that in.idf does exist in the same folder with energyplus.exe.
What is wrong here? Many thanks!
