Hello,
Thank you for your help but unfortunately i don t know how to use HVAC template and i have already filled the idf but i t has errors which i don t know how to correct. I refer some of the errors:
"Node Connection Error, Node="Z1GFANCOILAIROUTLETNODE", ZoneInlet node did not find an outlet node.
Reference Object=CONTROLLED ZONE EQUIP CONFIGURATION, Name=Z1G"
"Node Connection Error, Node="Z1GFANCOILAIRINLETNODE", ZoneExhaust node did not find a matching inlet node.
Reference Object=CONTROLLED ZONE EQUIP CONFIGURATION, Name=Z1G"
"Node Connection Error, Node="HW SUPPLY INLET NODE", Inlet node did not find an appropriate matching "outlet" node.
If this is an outside air inlet node, it must be listed in an OUTSIDE AIR NODE or OUTSIDE AIR INLET
NODE LIST object.
Reference Object=BRANCH, Name=HEATING SUPPLY INLET BRANCH"
If somebody knows how I can correct them please help me.
Thank you,
Natassa.

Natassa,
Ground heat exchanger is defined as a condenser type equipment in the supply side of the condenser loop while fan coil unit is located in the zone equipment definition. So their "typing" in a model may start with HVAC template, which is a useful tool and facilitate your model construction. Fan coil unit is already in this template and you can define an ordinary cooling tower and water-cooled chiller in the template and replace them with GHX and heat pumps in the expanded files.
This method is rather straightforard and if you are familiar with E+,you can complete your model within half an hour.
I hope these are helpful!
