[EnergyPlus_Support] Specificaton of PTHP Units

Hi there,

I've got a question about the PTHP-Units.
So far, I did several simulation runs, I've simulated the model completely on autosizing and wanted to implement step by step the given design values afterwards.
However, encountered problems when I specify the COPs and capacities of the units but leave the flow rates on autosize.

The error-message in this case is as follows:

** Severe ** Coil:Heating:DX:SingleSpeed OFFICE N PTHP HEATING COIL: Rated air volume flow rate per watt of rated total heating capacity is out of range. See Input-Output Reference Manual for valid range.

If I check the Input-Output Reference Manual it says in the section for the DX Cooling Coil, that "the rated air volume flow rate should be between 0.00004027 m3/s and 0.00006041 m3/s per watt of rated total cooling capacity" (s.p. 1216).
Now, what I'v did, was using the upper value for two zones, multiplied by the design capacity, and I still have the same error message for those two zones.

What else could be the problem for this?

What are the necessary specs for a PTHP unit and which values can I leave on autosize?

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Tobias
