[EnergyPlus_Support] what is the goal of ErnergyPlus

Hello All,
I discovered EnergyPlus very recently and in documentation, I have to note that it is a software of simulation. I wish to know this software allows to make the Juste i.e. what one really obtains after the simulation of a building.
