Schedule:Compact is just a short-hand way of doing
schedules. Yes, you'll need to schedule people, loads, lights, etc. for a
home. See the Benchmark building for midrise apartments as an
example. If I want to model
residential homes, do I need to create schedules or are they just for larger,
more complex buildings? Not that homes aren't complex. They are. I looked at a
few examples of the schedules in the files that accompany E+ and they had only
filled out the Schedule:Compact object. __._,_.___ The primary EnergyPlus web site is found at: http://www.energyplus.gov The group web site is: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/EnergyPlus_Support/ Attachments are currently allowed but be mindful that not everyone has a high speed connection.
