Dear Forum,
I have two questions:
1- I am modeling a building typical floor with a curtainwall, which I modeled as one large window on each facade, and I want to test how vertical fins would perform with different slat angles. If I define the fins using WindowMaterial:Blind object I can only specify a max slat separation of 1m, while in my real scenario this value is higher.
I know I can define the fins as attached surfaces, but in that case I would lose the chance to apply the slat angle control using the WindowProperty:ShadingControl object. Is there a way to overcome this problem?
2- Using exterior blinds I sometimes get this error message:
Severe ** Convergence error in SolveForWindowTemperatures for window W_479_7_0_0_0_0_WIN
** ~~~ ** Occurrence info=1, 01/12 15:00 - 15:30
** Fatal ** Program halted because of convergence error in SolveForWindowTemperatures for window W_479_7_0_0_0_0_WIN
I figured out that sometimes I could bypass it by changing the slat thickness, but this rule doesn't always work. Do you know how to solve it?
thanks a lot!
Marzia
