Hi, Linda
I have a question related to this topic.
I know where to change the 250 column limit.
I am a little uncertain on how to make sure that the data are in the .eso file.
When I did not enter all the Report variables I need in the IDF file and did not supply the RVI file, the .ESO file did not have all the variables generated in the simulation.
I must request for all the variables I need in the IDF file. Then I can select a group of what I want using the post processsor.
The question is: "Is there a command to make all the variables generated in a simulation automatically available in the .eso file without listing all the names in the IDF."
LIke
Output:Table:SummaryReports,
AllSummary ; !- Report 1 Name
I tried " Output:Variable,*, *,hourly; " , and it did not work.
Pasting the IDF format .rdd file into the .RVI file of the same file name as the IDF file during simulation also did not work well.
==================
I will guide Eleni through his problem, if he will provide more specific questions, or attach his .RVI file, and any new batch files he has added.
I have seen the DOS screen flashes and disappeared. The problem is due to Microsoft changing the way to run DOS applications.

Did you try the EP-Launch option to increase the limit of variables that go into the csv files?
Yes, I can help but it may be worthwhile to explore other options first.
