[EnergyPlus_Support] Residential HVAC in E+

Hi All,

This is a general question that I'd love to get some opinions on. Essentially, has anyone attempted to model detailed HVAC for detached houses?
Systems I'd be interested in are things like:
- Ground source heat pump coupled with radiant floor heating
- Solar assisted heat pump with forced air or radiant floor heating
- Solar combisystem that collects solar energy using flatplate collectors and draws both DHW and hot water for space heating from a storage tank
- Traditional furnace and central air; both forced air

Looking at the models, I see no reason why it can't be done; but the majority of examples seem to be aimed at commercial buildings.

Also, though this is a subjective question, what kind of time commitment would I be looking at (as somewhat of a rookie) in implementing one of the above models? If it's as easy as specifying the envelop, then great! I have a feeling it might not be :)

Thanks in advance.
Liam
