Ecotect is definitely compatible, but it’s really
best for just exporting the building geometry. It’s easiest to
assign materials, etc. in the IDF editor. It’s true that Ecotect exports an old version –
Ecotect v5.6 exports E+ v 2.2 – but, yes, you can use the E+ Convert
