In version 4, one of the utilities is the IDF
Converter.

You can download the rest of the transition files to accomplish this from
the helpserve:
http://energyplus.helpserve.com/staff/index.php?_m=downloads&_a=downloadfile&downloaditemid=49

These should be placed into your
<root>\PrePrecess\MultipleTransition folder.

There is also a readme on the helpserve:
