There can only be a demand side pump if there is a common pipe simulation in place, in which case there will be both demand and supply pumps.  The pump cannot be passive, because it will always want to be the component setting the flow.  

You may be able to approximate the energy consumption if you know the required flow rates throughout the simulation and can approximate the pump head.

Does anyone know if it´s possible to place a pump in the demand side of a plant network? The pump will be passive placed in series with an active component like a ZoneHVAC:BassBoard. I just want the energy consumpion of the Pump.
