[EnergyPlus_Support] Contributing to Energy Plus ??

While writing code to parse the energy plus IDD I was surprised by the number errors in the document, mostly formatting, but a lot of extensible field problems. 

 

I have attempted to contact the Energy Plus project leader (the only email address listed) to get information about submitting a 'clean/corrected' version of the IDD to the source tree, but there is no response. 

 

I would like to help improve an already great product.  Is Energy Plus still under active development?  Does anyone know how to contact the development team?

 

Its a shame Energy Plus is not 'really' open source.  It could sure benefit from it.
