Hello Everyone
First of all I wish that everyone has a excellent 2010.
Now let´s get down to business:
I'm currently simulating a real building in which the system is composed of Fan Coils.
I know that the capacity of the heating and cooling coils of the fan coils wont meat the set point temperatures for all the hours of the real building. Problem 1 is that Energyplus ? EP in the simulation during this hours changes the water flow in the coils, and tempreture diferance, so that it can meet the set point temperature, increasing the coils capacity and not corresponding to what really happens in the Building. Does anyone know why it does this? I´ve tried limiting the maximum and minimum water flow rates in the fan coil object without any successes.
Problem 2 is that the fan coil units, in the real building have on-off control valves and in the simulation model there is no option to get this kind of control. Does anyone know if this situation will change significantly the systems behavior?
Best regards
MN
