Look at the .err file.  See what errors were in your
simulation.

Have you included "output:variables" in your input file? 
If you have none, you will have no spreadsheet output.

Have you run some of the tutorials prior to this?  And did they work
okay?

Run one of the example files -- they all have outputs to the
spreadsheets.
