Hi, Rasha Iam sorry that I cannot help you to debug the shade. You can replace it with a solid plate or horizontal blind and compare the results. The holes below the window level will not contribute to the light level in the room and simply use up computing time in simulation. The window is receiving sun beam, but not necessary through the shade. You may be able to confirm this by looking at the transmitance of the shade at temesteps. You can also calculate manually to see whether the solar angle is low enough to be shaded, by drawing a simple diagram to scale on paper. The solar angles is availabe in the simulated data. My computer is too slow to debug your program.
