RE: [EnergyPlus_Support] HAMT material properties sources?

As a WUFI user, I have yet to experiment with the EnergyPlus simulations that include moisture. I have been told that the implementation of HAMT in EnergyPlus is not as true to WUFI as one may like. For one thing, there is no rain in EnergyPlus and that greatly impacts some wall calculations. If properly implemented, I suspect that calculation times would dramatically increase dramatically. On the other hand, a partial implementation may give one some moisture buffering. If work slows down, we may have time to review this further....

The HAMT model is similiar to what is inside seperate software called WUFI. I don't know for sure if they expose the necessary material data, but it may be worth trying to extract input data out of WUFI.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] HAMT material properties sources?

Hello everyone,

I am looking for alternative sources of material properties for use with HAMT simulations within Energy Plus. Annex 24 catalog is apparently out of print and I am unable to find anything else.
Directions to any other HAMT relevant material that can help us to better understand will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Fran
