Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Re: Series Counterflow Chiller Arrangement
When you say a "series counterflow" arrangement, do you mean that the
chiller evaporators are in series (chiller 1 then chiller 2), and then
the condensers are also in series with flow in the opposite direction
(chiller 2 then chiller 1)? If so, the condenser side of the chiller
pair can not be in series. If one chiller is off, the condenser side of
that chiller is off, and then the other chiller will not run (since
there is 0 condenser flow for that chiller). Try running the condenser
side in parallel and see if that works.
