[EnergyPlus_Support] "Surface Name" in Generator:Photovoltaic

Hi everybody,

 

I have a question about photovoltaic model on EnergyPlus.

 

I want to simulate a building with PV panels located in the building façade.

 

In the object "Generator:Photovoltaic", I have defined the "Surface Name" where the PV array will be located as being the external walls of the building.

 

If there are windows on these walls, I don't know if the program will automatically desconsider the area of the windows, to locate the PV panels, or I have to create another surface on the opaque surfaces in order to locate the panels?
