[EnergyPlus_Support] Recent Weather Data Requests

Recent weather data requests have become overwhelming for our one
developer who can take the time to try to accomodate with Meteonorm
files.

Thus, though we will put those files here on Yahoo Groups, we ask that
you send the requests to the helpdesk system.  For those of you who
still don't understand the differences between the two: helpdesk and
YahooGroups, it is quite simple:

1) if you send a message to energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx, you enter the
helpdesk system, get assigned a ticket number and get
answered from there.  This is the preferred method of getting
EnergyPlus support. Our developers monitor that site.  You can also
get into the site by going to

http://energyplus.helpserve.com

2) if you send a message to energyplus_support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, you
are posting to the "discussion/user to user" list.  Some
of our developers watch posts here; others do not. Your question may be
answered by other users.

Back to the weather data, we will supply weather data for EnergyPlus/EPW
purposes only, you will need to supply:

Name of Location
Latitude (N+/S-)
Longitude (E+/W-)
Time Zone
Elevation (meters)

And you should be aware of Meteonorm limitations -- described in the
Yahoo Groups files section.

We prefer that you send the above information on location to the helpdesk
(i.e., energyplus-support@xxxxxxxx)
