Re: Fw: [EnergyPlus_Support] USE OF INTAKE AND EXHAUST FANS

I would try first using the ZoneVentilation as you have indicated.  You can put in a fan efficiency and pressure rise there.  If that is not enough, then try other methods.

Subject: [EnergyPlus_Support] USE OF INTAKE AND EXHAUST FANS

Hi All,

Help Please! I am modelling a test cell that has an intake fan on the south wall and an exhaust fan on the north wall, with the windows closed 24/7. Do I have to model the fans OR it is enough to select the either intake or exhaust in the Ventilation Type field  under the ZoneVentilation class in the Zone Airfllow Group in the IDF. If I need to model please help me with the group(s) in IDF to use, please.

Thank you in advance,
Sumwel
