Hi Everyone,
I've modeled a 1 zone house's HVAC system with a HVACTemplate:System:Unitary, a HVACTemplate:Zone:Unitary, and a HVACTemplate:Thermostat. The year-round temperature setpoints are 71 for heating and 76 for cooling. During the winter, the heating system (gas) is pushing the temperature up to 76 (instead of stopping at 71), then the cooling coil is kicking in to push it back down. During the summer, the system is working as expected, only bringing the temperature down to 76. Any idea why this is happening? Everything is set to autosize, and there is no economizer or humdifier. According to the standards I'm following, the heating and cooling must be available year-round, so manually defining a schedule is not an option. All feedback is appreciated.
Thanks,
Andrew
