Re: [EnergyPlus_Support] Cooling is running during winter - how do I stop it?
Look at the expanded input file (*.expidf) and see what type of
thermostat is used. the HVACTemplate:Thermostat object should give you a
dual set point. You can also use this file (by changing the name to
something.idf) after the first run to make other custom changes that are
not available in the HVACTemplate objects.

Also check the control type schedule to make sure it uses "4" as the
control type (1=heating, 2=cooling, 3 = single heating and cooling, 4 =
dual set point). Note the control type schedule below uses a dual set
point all year long.
